Maintenance Manager

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000

Shift: Monday - Friday

Location: Stanford-le-Hope, Essex

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment, driving continuous improvement, and leading a team of engineers to deliver world-class performance.

Skills required for the Maintenance Manager:

Proven leadership in a maintenance or engineering management role (ideally in a manufacturing)
Ability to develop and manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
Experience with CMMS systems
Excellent knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practices
Ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and contractor relationships
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Good understanding of root cause analysis and continuous improvement techniques (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma)
Experience in managing projects and upgrades to plant or equipment
Skilled in coaching, motivating, and developing a multi-skilled engineering team
